Tampa Real Estate – Pool or No Pool

With the temperatures where they are, most people say they need a pool due to the weather…but wait, what they don’t think about is what the upkeep cost is.  Pools can be expensive in the long run for something that you may use once a month if you are lucky.  At first it seems like you will use it alot, but in the long run, you probably won’t.  I live next to neighbors on both sides that have pools and I must say, I have seen them use the pool maybe at best once per month.  Pretty expensive shall we say hobby.

So think the whole pool thing thru before you say a pool is a must.  If the development has a pool, that may be enough.  Everyone is different, so make sure you absolutely need a pool before looking for a home.  When you go to sell that home, pools will only bring in possibly half of their replacement value if that so not a great investment.
