Social Networking the Way of the Future – Real Estate Too

With the advent of Social Networking penetrating ever part of today’s world and the Internet as we know it, Social Networking is truly the way things are going to be.  It penetrates ever aspect of life, both personal and business, the world as we know it will never be the same.  Just as the Internet changed the way we do business and live our lives, Social Networking is and has become the next golden egg.

For Example, I work the Tampa Real Estate Market, and I use to sell real estate the old fashion way, knocking on doors, sending emails, talking to people out and about, networking with people face to face.  Now, I post blogs, interact with my contacts online in my Facebook account, or LinkedIn, or Myspace, etc.  Now instead of interacting with 20 people for the day, I interact with 200 or even 2000 people at one time.  Life is less complicated and most of my interaction can occur from behind the screen as opposed to face to face.   Don’t get me wrong, eventually you will need to meet face to face, but the initial interaction can occur this way, saves on Gas as well (just a joke).

The face of the world is changing, and your geographical areas are expanding, you are no longer communicating with just your neighbors, or other parents at your kids school.  You are now speaking with people in other states, other countries as if they were next door.

The world is growing even smaller, I just hope there is enough room some 10 years from now!  We shall see!
